Santa Ana, CA — Today, State Senator Ling Ling Chang announced her endorsement for the reelection of District Attorney Tony Rackauckas.
“I support District Attorney Tony Rackauckas for his absolute dedication to public safety, especially his work to reduce gang membership to half, innovative development of DNA laws to capture the golden state killer and his work on building the most aggressive human exploitation and trafficking unit in the country,” said Senator Chang.
Chang’s endorsement adds to the momentum the Rackauckas campaign has picked up since the primary, giving Rackauckas a virtual clean sweep of endorsements from Orange County’s most respected elected officials, including all of opponent Todd Spitzer’s colleagues on the Board of Supervisors.
Ling Ling Chang, running on an anti-Gas Tax, pro-public safety platform, recently won a heavily contested recall election in the 29th Senate District, ousting pro-tax Senator Josh Newman.
“Senator Ling Ling Chang is extremely pro-business, anti-tax and pro-public safety. The fact that her first piece of legislation as a State Senator was to reinstate funding for human trafficking victims shows her dedication to the cause,” said Rackauckas.
